Cathy's Key

As you clearly remember from my Cathy's Book review I am Cathy-obsessed. I loved Cathy's Book and I felt no different about it's sequel.

In the beginning Cathy goes to a fortune teller named Auntie Joe, Cathy found out about Auntie Joe online and later in the book we find out that it was no coincidence. Meanwhile Victor is still working for Ancestor Lu and has just come across a serum that could turn Cathy immortal, so she can live with him forever, only problem is that he doesn't know exactly where it is and he can't exactly be with Cathy.

Cathy develops new crushes, new frenemies and destroys enemies. Cathy just has such a fantastic life full of near death experiences and romance with her friends, mainly Emma. Don't you wish you were her, I sure do!

In this story we are introduced to new characters such as Ben, Jewel and Dennis, and we learn some interesting information about the world of immortals and mysterious characters.

Cathy's Key gets 10 out of 10 for its sheer awesome-ness!

*Insider information tells me that the next book in Cathy's series will be named Cathy's Ring. I think she gets married (to Victor) what do you think happens?

Eclispe by Stephenie Meyer

MY apologies, people. I haven't been on for more than a month and that's just inexcusable. I'm truly sorry. You totally have the right to hate me! Moving on to the review.

OK, so Bella has to choose between Edward and Jacob and she's having a VERY, ridiculously hard time. To top things of someones after her, again and nobody knows. Edward says it's The Volturi, Bella says it's Victoria. Who's it?

Poor Edward, his reason for living is being hunted, again. But that's not all Bella wants something that Edward's reluctant to give her, but he always gives in, will he give in now? He says she can have it when she marries him, but will his will power fade to Bella's whim. It always does. So what's going to happen this time?

READ TO FIND OUT! My lips are shut! I know short, but I really don't want to spoil it for anyone who hasn't read it yet. I know most of you have, there still are those few who haven't. 10 and out of 10!

Hazing Meri Sugarman by M. Apostolina!

Cindy Bixby is a self acclaimed loser, in high school she is ridiculed for her looks, her brains, and her social status, but she is determined to change all that in college by joining her mother's old sorority, Alpha Beta Delta.

After the hectic and very crazy Pledge Week, Cindy's dreams come true. She has a new makeover which her look hot. She's instantly popular for being an Alpha Beta Delta sister, she's a cheerleader, and she doesn't have to take her classes, but still gets straight A's. Everything is going great. It seems like it's going to be this amazing forever with the help of Meri Sugarman everything thing seems that way. But it didn't stay that way. Does it ever?

You want to know why it didn't stay that way? Well then I'll lay it out for you. Meri Sugarman isn't as sweet as her name might portray. She is in fact a megalomaniac with a knack for controlling everyone around her to get what she wants. If you defy her you will pay! Whether you steal her ex-boyfriend or watch a movie that isn't foreign she will have a plan to torture you 'till you die. No, she wont kill you with her rifle, no, that's for the bluebirds. Instead she'll hurt you and hurt you badly.

Punishments range from hours tied to a bed under burning heating lamps or shaving your head from handsies-kneesies to lowering your GPA below that of a mental person.

Where ever you are, she's there. So don't think you're safe in your dorm room or your bathroom or your boyfriend's dorm room not even the dean's office. She is monitoring it all!

What are Cindy and her friends to do? When faced with a task as impossible as hazing Meri Sugarman. Will Cindy and her friends succeed or is Meri too powerful to overthrow? Read and you will surely find out.

This was a very well written novel, the first by Michael Apostolina and a grandly memorable novel to that. I loved the way Michael portrayed college life in the eyes of Cindy. The alcohol, the sex, the drugs, the people, everything. It was a great story that left me speechless and wanting more at the last page. This book definetely deserves a 10 out of 10! It taught me that individuality is key. The key to the closed door...
On a different note, Happy Fourth of July! Remember only four more days 'till my birthday so get your presents ready. He-he...

New Moon by Stephenie Meyer!

Okay, first, I apologize. I've got so much on me that I couldn't update. Don't worry I didn't break a Bookworm Law. I read. I didn't finish much. But I'm such an amazing Twilight fan, that I finished reading New Moon in 4 days, and it was amazing!
We join Bella in her normal life with her absolutely to die for, soulmate Edward. Things are going fine until Bella's 18th birthday. Her birthday started out fine. She's having some fun,but not much on account of her being older than Edward, technically as Alice pointed out.
Then Bella gets a paper cut and everything went downhill as Jasper lurched himself toward Bella's blood and Edward protected her from the ravenous vampire. After that accident Edward distanced himself from Bella. Bella knew what was wrong, but she couldn't quite put her finger on it.
Things stayed the same between them and Bella grew weary of this fact. Then BAM, Edward dumped her. It was a sad moment and it stayed with Bella for as long as she was apart from Edward. She was a "zombie". She wouldn't talk, play, have fun, nothing. Nothing meant ANYTHING to her. Nothing without Edward. She had a hole in her chest. A growing hole.
To distract herself from her pain, she decided to get dangerous. With her best friend, Jacob by her side and sometimes without him. Resulting in frequent trips to the E.R. I bet she had her own room. A home away from home, so to speak.
Then things go haywire when she learns that Jacob is a werewolf. The whole comes back even wider and more full of intense, malevolent pain. Jacob can't be around her for awhile. Just like a newborn vampire can't be close to a human.
She also learns that Victoria James's mate is trying to avenge him by killing Bella because Edward killed James. Things get a little good. Then some dramatic stuff happens. Bella meets the Volturi. Bella finds out that Edward still loves her and he tries to save him from killing himself because he thinks Bella's dead.
Life gets back to normal except for Jacob who loves Bella and can't stand to watch Bella being with his mortal enemy he becomes real depressed and stuff. When you get to the end you will be begging for more, begging!
I think Twilight was better because Edward was in it more, but that doesn't mean it's not still AMAZING! When Jacob became a huge part of Bella's life I fell in love with him. When Edward came back I totally forgot about him. When he betrayed Bella for his own selfish benefit I hated him. When I thought it over I still loved Edward, but I felt sorry for Jacob. How sad it is for the one you love not to love you back. It must drive him suicidal. It probably would have made me suicidal! Nonetheless, I'm still loving Edward and I want to share my favorite quote from New Moon with you. Here I go...
"They have a name for someone who smells the way Bella does to me. They call her my singer because her blood sings for me."
That one makes me jiggle like jello every time I think about it. "My blood sings for you too, Edward. You just can't hear it'', I always think.
I've got to get over that fictional character! The book gets a grande 10 out of 10! You better read it! I'll read Eclipse next. Today was the last day of school, so I'll have plenty of time.

The Disreputable History of Frankie Landau-Banks!

At age 14 Frankie is just your ordinary mildly geeky girl. She's in the Debate Club and is known by her family as "Bunny Rabbit".

At age 15 Frankie is now incredibly hot and has obtained a boyfriend, long time crush, Mathew Livingston. A very popular dude with a very wealthy family. Who we soon learn is also very secretive, you see, Frankie starts to get suspicious about her boyfriend and one day she follows him and finds out that he is a member of The Loyal Order of The Basset Hounds, an all male secret society which is known for it's notorious tricks, pranks and possibly, crimes. What is a girl to do when a situation like this comes her way. She hacks the society of course.

Age 16. What do you think will happen?

I must say this book was incredible. A romance/mystery novel that you must read unless maybe you want to stay out of jail. Just kidding! I give this book a 9 out of 10. I strongly recommend you go to the bookstore and buy it, now. So go, I'm waiting.

Knots in My Yo-Yo String!

Okay, so my teacher read it to as. It was the autobiography of Jerry Spinelli and it was simply riveting. His life is more interesting than I thought (This might only be because my teacher read it to me)! It talks about his girlfriends, the sports he played, the Hokey Pokey man, and much more. My favorite chapter was the one named "When I became king" . It really sketches a picture in my mind of the splendor he had as prom king with his lovely girlfriend, Julie at his side and all the intellectual glory he snagged as valedictorian. Jerry Spinelli's childhood was amazing and so were his teens even though he eventually lost all his teenhood glory. He did later recover that glory in his adult life by publishing his first book Milkweed. Jerry's books always inhabit many of his life expieriences and that makes his literature a joy to read because you know there's something real in there and that it's not all fake. Jerry always I give it an 8 out of 10. I recommend you read it or have your teacher read it to you.

Last Chapter of Story!

It took a while, but I had writer's block.I also made another book which I'll make another blog for!
Here we go...

On the day of the contest Jada dressed in a lovely brown dress and some black flats and so did her friends. When it was their turn they got up and sang her song. Everybody loved it and the camp leaders were all persuaded into letting the girls read their Bibles at camp. They were all thrilled and celebrated by having a little party with a Jesus theme.
Jada and her friends never got tired of camp when it was time to go they got each other's cellphone numbers and always stayed touch. 'Till this day all of the girls remember the song by heart.

GOD bless you all. Bye-Bye!

Love,Stargirl!

At first I read a little and decided I hated it, but I picked it up during Spring break and I totally loved it. I mean it wasn't as AMAZING as Stargirl, but it was pretty good.

So Stargirl is now grieving over the loss of her poor Leo. Time goes by and she tries to write the Longest Letter Ever professing her love for Leo and telling him how the absence of his presence is affecting her life. She meets new people like the rough-rousing 11 year-old, Alvina, sweet little Dootsie, agoraphobic, but lovable Betty Lou, and bad boy harem leader, Perry. With the help of her new friends and nature she learns to get over Leo and start her life anew. I give this book 7 hearts out of 10. I recommend it to all!

Twilight!!!!!!!!

Okay, now this is the best book I've ever read with its mix of riveting genres it is simply to die for. It takes place in Forks, Washington where a young girl named, Isabella Swan has relocated to live with her father. At first everything goes pretty well in Forks. Until she catches the eye of a "young", flawless, god-like boy, named Edward Cullen. At first Edward keeps his space and seems like he is not interested in her at all, but she has fallen in love with him (a great example of love at first site). Then one day they start talking and she takes rides to school in his car and they get closer and closer. So close that she finds out that he is a vampire and so is the rest of his family. He saves her life many times in this book proving that he is also head over heels in love. But it doesn't always say peaches and cream, another clan of vampires that suck human blood(The Cullens don't)come to town and their leader and his woman hunt Bella down and trick her into meeting James at her old Ballet studio where her mother is supposedly being held hostage. Bella is severely hurt (a broken leg and painful cuts that cover her body) by James and almost dies, but her soul mate Edward and his family find her and save her life. At the end of this spectacular tale Edward takes Bella to prom (even though she didn't want to) where Jacob Black (one of Bella's friends)tells Bella that his superstitious father wants her to brake up with her boyfriend. But she doesn't let that spoil her good time. Then she and Edward have a little talk about why Edward forced Bella to come to prom and why he doesn't want her to become a vampire. It has a very lovely ending in which they confess their love to each other one last time. I give this book 10 organic apples out of 10 organic apples because it definitely wasn't conventional! Hooray for Twilight!

Ida B!

Ida B. by Katherine Hannigan was a great novel that I liked. This story took place in Lawson's Grove,Wisconson 55500 P.O. Box 42 and occasionally in Ernest B. Lawson Elementary. The main characters are Ida B. Applewood, Ida Applewood, Evan Applewood, Lula, and Rufus. The conflict in this story was that Ida B's mother got breast cancer and her life takes a turn from a perfect paradise to a place of mind-numbing torture. This is a very exquisite story!!!!!!!!!!!!

The setting took place in a rural town in Wisconsin named Lawson's Grove, where there were a lot of apple orchards, farms, plants, and flowers and without the apple trees the Applewood family would have been in great debt. Since Ida B. lived in a rural town full of green grass and land, she loved apple trees and she even had long conversations with the trees even though people said it was impossible. In Lawson's Grove there weren't a lot of sky scrapers and big office buildings, so the Applewoods had to travel a long way to get to a hospital. In the setting the town was filled with many water sources such as rivers, streams, and brooks. Ida B. thought that the brook in her backyard traveled all the way to Canada, but she didn't get any proof that it did. The setting was great, but now lets talk about the characters who lived there!

There are many great characters in this story, but the most important are Ida B, Ida, and Evan Applewood. Ida B. is a cheery homeschooled fourth grader who loves the environment, the apple trees in her backyard, and her pets Rufus the dog and Lula the cat, but her lives goes downhill when her mother develops breast cancer, she is forced to go back to public school; which she hates, and her parent's love and kindness towards her, is only thing that motivates her. Next, Ida B's mother Ida Applewood is a caring, devoted, and loving mother and wife who develops breast cancer and starts to loose her hair. The thing that motivates her the most is her family. Last, but not least Evan Applewood. He is a great man who loves his wife and his only daughter, who is also his only child. He is forced to sell part of his family's apple orchard to pay for his wife's medical expenses. That really hurts Ida B. because the people he sold half the apple orchard to, cut it down and the trees were her only true friends. Evan's motivation is his wife. The characters are very important, but the story would be nothing without a problem.

To start with, the saddest thing about this story was that Ida B's life changed dramatically after her mother developed breast cancer, so she hat to find a way to overcome her circumstances. First, Ida B. tried to have fun. She played with her dad and had conversations with the apple trees in her backyard. Second, Ida B. tried to change her negative attitude into a more enthusiastic one. She tried many things like playing with her friends. Last, she tried to turn her enemies into friends. In the process she befriended a girl named Claire and her family. The conflict was sad, but the resolution wasn't.

To end with, the conclusion was my favorite part of the story. It was that Ida B's mother got better and she started to like school. First, Ida B's mother got better. So she'll probably be healthy in no time! Second, Ida started to like school a little bit and she adjusted to many of the things that had happened. It was hard, but she did it. Lastly, her parent's love for her made her forget about her bad consequences and think about how to make them even better. Her parents helped her through thick and thin. In conclusion, I love this book because it taught me that I had the power to turn any bad situation around and I would recommend this book to everyone who reads my blog!!!!!!

It gets 9 out of 10 apples 'cause it was special!

My New Story~Part 3

This is gonna be a good one!

Ch.3

"Hey guys, I've got an idea on what we could do for the talent show Friday, wanna hear it", asked Jada confidently.

"Sure", all her roommates yelled with enthusiasm.

"Well I was thinking we sing a song for the talent show about how much we love God", Jada said nervously.

"It's time we use the power of music for something good", Penelope said strongly.

"Well the flyer did say that free speech was allowed, but it might be hard especially 'cause there might not be many Christians or Messianic Jews on camp", Lily said.

"You never know, Penelope said confidently.

"I agree and as the Bible says "Be strong and courageous and get to work. Don't be frightened by the size of the task for the Lord my God is with you; he will not forsake you. He will see to it that everything is finished correctly"~1 Chronicles 28:20

"You're right we should at least try to see whether this will change anything", Lily said

"Have you written any lyrics yet,Jada",Penelope asked.

"Yup",Jada says handing them each a copy of her lyrics, "You could put it to the sound of your instruments".

"Cool",Lily said.

"But you should sing it so we can see what we can do with our instruments", Penelope added.

"Okay,We will not be silenced,'cause the Bible told as to not, We will not be silenced, 'cause our GOD is so good, you can take away my book, you can take away my pencil, you can take away our papers. We will not be silenced, 'cause our Lord is so good, He provides us with food, And I'll never forsake Him. For He loved me so, That he gave his only begotten son, That who so ever believed in Him, Shall not perish, but have everlasting life, We will not be silenced,"cause our Lord is here,We will not be silenced, We will praise and cheer. We will not be silenced,'cause Jesus loves us so,This I know, cause the Bible told me so, If we see an atheist, we will go and preach, If we see a demonic worshiper, We wont turn to violence.Oh our Lord is so good. We will NEVER be silenced", Jada sang.

"Wow, that was amazing, I love your singing voice",Penelope said finishing of with wild applause.

"I loved it too,but I'm a bit sleepy", Lily said with much praise for Jada's singing.

"Thanks guys, I'm a little sleepy too",Jada said yawning.

"Good night guys",Lily said.

"Good night ,Lily", Penelope and Jada both said.

GOOD NIGHT, EVERYBODY SEE YA TOMORROW!

My New Story~Part 2

Ch.2

Dear Diary,

I can't believe what happened last night. They denied me my pursuit of happiness. They denied Penelope (my new Christian friend who is also my roommate) her pursuit of happiness as well. As far as I know it's a free country so I can do what I want to do. How can the counselor say that Penelope and I can't read are new Bibles in the lounge. How could she say Bibles weren't even allowed in camp. Those words stung my heart like a big fierce bee. I mean my parents payed good money for me to come hear so shouldn't I have my choice in what I wanted to read. It's not like if I was back home in New York I could walk up to a Muslim Mosque or a Hindu temple and tell them that they couldn't worship their false gods not even if I had rented them the place. That's 'cause they actually got to pursue their happiness! I love tennis camp, but this is just not right. I think I might have an idea though. We are going to have a talent show, so maybe I could make up a song to sing. That would be totally about God, how much I loved Him, and how great he is. I'll get help from Penelope and Lilian (My other room mate who is a Messianic Jew) and if they say yes I'll come up with the lyrics and they can play them to the instruments that they play. That would be great. And if the counselor tried to stop as from singing our song we would give her a long speech about how the Constitution, and the Declaration of Independence clearly states that we are allowed to carry out the religion we choose, we have have free speech, we may pursue our happiness anyway we want, and that it is a FREE country!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sincerely aggravated,

Jada P.

My New Story!

Okay, I'm gonna write a story that came to me one day, starting from today going. Tell me what you think about it. If you hate it then say so and if you like it then say so as well. I based my characters on real people, hope you like it! But some stuff is just from my head.

We Will Not Be Silenced by Abby O.

Ch.1

"Hurry up in there I'm gonna be late",yelled Jada to her sister Nia who was in the bathroom.

"Don't you think it takes time to make me look as good as I do",Nia jokingly retorted back.
"Beauty is only skin deep",Jada shouted.
"It's all yours lil' sis",said Nia walking out of the bathroom looking truly divine.

"Finally",Jada yelled sarcastically out.

You see Jada was going to Ruby Stone's Tennis Camp in New Hampshire and she didn't want to be late because she had heard really cool things about it. But she will later find out that the camp is not all that it's cracked up to be!

After a couple of minutes Jada got out of the bathroom and she looked even better than Nia. She had on some Sheer Cover and Burt Bees Natural Lip Balm/Shimmer. She was wearing her favorite blue "Jesus Loves Me" shirt with her dolphin necklace and matching earrings. She was also wearing her Nike tennis Fauna Skort and her Blue Chuck Taylor X-His. She walked to her room got her racket case and her three huge blue luggage bags and went down stairs to get her parents so she could go to Tennis Camp and then they all jumped into their Tahoe hybrid and drove all the way to New Hampshire.
"Bye",said Jada to her parents when they finally got to the camp.

'Bye,Honey",said her parents and then they drove away.

When she finished registering. She decided to go see her cabin(Cabin 34) since the first day of tennis camp was for exploring the camp and making new friends. She decorated her single bed and the space around it and then she took out her book and started to read. She dozed off in the middle of her novel. Suddenly the door started to creak and she was immediately startled.

"Are you okay",asked a nice girl, about Jada's age,as she walked into the cabin.

"Oh,nothing serious just a mini heart attack is all",said Jada jokingly.
"Oh I see we've got our self a Cabin Clown in here",said the girl in a assertive voice(jokingly of course).
"Indeed we do",Jada said sarcastically.
"My name is Penelope",said the girl nicely.
"My name is *drum roll please* Jada",said Jada.
"I was born in Jamaica",said Penelope,"What about you?"
"I was born in Jamaica too",Jada said,"How old are you?,I'm 13"
"Me to",Penelope said.
"What school do you go to",said Jada,"I'm going to Alabaster Prep after summer vacation"
"Me too",Jada exclaimed excitedly.
"We have so much in common",they both sang in unison.
They both broke out into a flood of hysterical laughter.
"One more thing",Penelope said,"Are you a Christian?"
"Well clearly",said Jada excitedly gesturing to her shirt,"Wanna see the Bible I got for my birthday?"
"Ha-Ha,why Not",Penelope said sitting down on Jada's bed as she pulled out a big slick looking blue Bible.
"Wow it's beautiful",Penelope said.
"Wanna go read it at the lounge",asked Jada,"I've got another one that my mom said I should give to a friend, you can have it"
"That's so generous of you, thanks",said Penelope looking very grateful.

So with their new matching Bibles, the girl's hopped over to the lounge, picked a seat and started to read.Lots of other girls in the lounge were looking at them as if they were aliens, but the girls didn't pay them much mind, they just went on reading their Bibles. Finally someone spoke,It was one of the camp counselors.
"Girls, Bibles aren't allowed in this camp",said the counselor.

The girls couldn't speak. They were simply dumbstruck. They were just suddenly full of sadness. They were very angry.Lots of things jumbled through their heads. They were simply speechless, but they finally said something.
"Whaaaaaaaat",they both said looking like they had just been smacked for no reason, but that was it. All they could say was "what?".

Lily B. On The Brink Of Cool!

This is another one of the books I bought at the book fair. But this one wasn't as great as the others. It was about a 13 year old aspiring writer named Lillian Blennerhasset who thinks her parents, her best friend and life are pretty much boring. But at a wedding she meets this cool family called the LeBlancs who mess up her life and eventually disappear. I know it sounds pretty interesting and it is so you might not regret reading it. It also has a suggested and eclectic reading list of interesting books and "Lily B.'s Top Five Reasons to Buy This Book" and my favorite reason is this "Brad Pitt loves women who read". Ha-Ha! Overall this book gets a 7 out of 10.

Cathy's Book!!!!

Okay so I read this book because my friend Tyler wanted to reat it because one of the girls in my class got it and she wouldn't show him because she said it was full of private girl stuff(I didn't understand that). Anyway it's my new favorite book because it has multiple genres and it's amazing! It is about a girl who tries to find the mystery of her boyfriend. She becomes very snoopy because she doesn't understand why Victor(her boyfriend)dumped her. She breaks into his house, stalks him and eventually gets kidnapped and Victor comes to save her. At last after all that has happened to her she learns the truth about Victor and her whole world changes from normal to abnormal! When I brought it to school my math teacher was interested and so was everybody, so I let my math teacher read it and after a couple of pages she went to Amazon right in the middle of math class and bought it!That is how AMAZING the book is! There are real websites, numbers, emails, myspaces, and much more. Go to http://www.doubletalkwireless.com/, I'm Lydia919 on there. You'll learn more about the book there and overall this gets a 100 out of 100. That's a special rating for special books!!!

Stargirl!!!

So I had to read this book for a school author study that we were doing and not only did I love it, but I worship it(okay that might be a little over the top). This book is about a unusual girl named Susan Caraway who calls her self Stargirl. At first everybody was really creeped out by her partly because she knew everybody's name and birth date and she sang everybody "Happy Birthday" on their birthday and she had the strangest sense of style that anyone had ever seen before. Then gradually she becomes accepted and also becomes a cheerleader. Then she becomes Leo Borlock's girlfriend and she shows him really amazing things! They become serious lovers that everybody hates. Then Leo persuades her to become normal because everybody hates them and then there's some serious drama in the story and Stargirl moves away. Overall this book gets a 9 out of 10! I also found out that Nickelodeon Movies and Paramount are going to make the book into a movie and I can't wait!!! See Ya!!!!!!!

Caddie Woodlawn!!!!!!

I had to read this book for school and it was pretty good. It was based on the author's grandmother, Caroline Watkins. It told about her first 12 years of life and the whole time I was reading the book I was thinking that she probably got her period late if she could run wild with her brothers like that(aren't I just creepy). Anyway,at first she was a tomboy and she played pranks on people, she plowed, she hunted, she did so many boyish things that every time her mother looked at her, Caddie could see how her eyes were full of dismay sometimes. Then finally her father who allowed her to run wild with her brothers because he didn't want Caddie to die like one of his daughters died 'cause of how delicate and frail she was, persuaded her to become more ladylike 'cuz he believed it was her responsibility. She did it because she loved and respected her father. So after that she quit being a tomboy and she started to be ladylike. She sewed instead of plowed, she washed dishes instead of hinting and much more. But she didn't quit hanging out with her two brothers, Tom and Warren. They grew so fond of hanging out together that they sewed with Caddie, they did chores with Caddie and everything else! Caddie Woodlawn was a true American pioneer! Overall this book got a 6 out of 10!

Deep Down Popular!!!!!!!

So I bought this book at my book fair a couple of days ago and it rocked my world!I loved it so much!!! So this book is about a tomboy named Jessie Lou who has loved the most popular boy in school since 2nd grade. His name is Conrad Parker Smith. But Conrad isn't really interested in her and I think that's because she's a tomboy and she cut her hair so short that you can see her scalp. One faithful day Conrad's leg starts to go bad so Jessie Lou has to assist him and they become best friends along with another boy named Quentin. Conrad asks her to the 6th grade graduation dance and she goes and they become even better friends and her hair grows to her shoulders! There is so much in the book, but I don't want to spoil it for someone who wants to read it!! Overall this book gets a 10 out of 10!

Who Stole Halloween?

Honestly, this book was pretty boring, but it might not be for someone who likes mysteries, or Halloween, or cats. It probably isn't a great book for people who don't enjoy a good children's book (like me). Anyway this book is a mystery novel about a cat named Halloween who was kidnapped. Well 2 kids try to solve the mystery and at the end they find out that the cat napper is a teacher who uses cat hair to make gel capsules for improving eyesight. Creepy, Huh. Well overall this book gets 4 out of 10 because it was boring, but that doesn't mean you won't like it.

Bud, Not Buddy

I had to read this book because it was on my summer reading list and it was interesting, but i didn't really like it. Bud, Not Buddy is a historical fiction story about a 10 year old orphan boy who's mother died when he was 6 and he never knew his father. So one day he runs away from the orphanage to look for his father and on the way he meets some interesting people and sees some interesting stuff. He eventually finds Herman F. Calloway who he remembers from old fliers that his mother had. At the end he find out that Herman F.Calloway was not his father, but rather his mother's father. Overall this book gets a 5 out of 10!

Peter And The Starcatchers!!!

So I had to read this book for The Massachusetts Book Award Program, awhile back and I absolutely loved it! This book was amazing because it had every genre you could think of. The main character Peter is shipped away to Rundoon to became a servant of the evil King Zarboff the third with his other orphan friends and on the way, he meets new people and his life is changed forever. In the beginning, Peter and his orphans friends get shipped away in the Neverland ,a ship.In the middle, Peter meets Molly and brews plans of escaping while trying to solve the mystery of the secret trunk. At the end Peter finds out about the secret trunk, helps the Starcatchers and from the stardust he becomes a boy who lives forever, never ages, can fly and other stuff. This lovely book is a twist on the classic novel Peter Pan and is riveting yet strong which draws my attention and makes me celebrate every minute of reading through this book's pages. Overall this book gets a 7 out of 10!

The Holy Bible!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This is the best book ever. It's not just a book it is a guide for your life that you should always follow. It's got great stories in it and they all teach you amazing life lessons. Best of all it gives you the tools to keep you from going to Hell. This book doesn't even need a rating because it passes all books that have ever been written. I strongly recommend this book to everyone because it is amazing and if you are not a born again Christian it will save your life. So you should buy this book today and read it from Genesis to Revelation. It might be long, but you will never regret it. In fact you will cherish it in all the days that you live.Bye!!!

L8r G8r!!!

This is the last book in the instant messaging trilogy. This book is about going to college, growing up, and much more. In this book smart Zoe sleeps with her boyfriend Doug, Angela gets a great boyfriend who gives her a Jeep, but eventually Angela admits that she doesn't love him and breaks up with him and later learns than during their relationship Logan (her boyfriend at that time) cheated on her. Maddie gets back together with her old boyfriend, Ian. In this book the girls are also stressing about college and how they're going to stay in contact since they're all going to different colleges and some other stuff. Anyway this book was very lacking in moral standards and was virtually an unclean read, but it gets a 3.5 out of 10. I don't recommend you read this.

TTFN!!

This is the sequel to TTYL. This book is also written entirely in instant messaging. In his book Zoe gets a boyfriend named Doug (who used to have a crush on Angela). Maddie becomes attracted to a pot-smoking boy named Clive and is persuaded into smoking some pot (that's what you get when you don't believe in GOD) . Angela finds out that she is moving to El Cerrito, California and eventually escapes El Cerrito and moves back to Georgia and lives with her funky Aunt Sadie. Now this book is a bit funny and talks about some stuff that needs to be talked about so it was pretty good. Overall it scored 4.5 out of 10.

TTYL!

This book is the first novel ever written entirely in instant messaging. This book is about the true friendship of three fifteen year old girls. This book is full of sicko crushes, jerky girls, and much more. It is full of up and downs and funky situations. One of the characters (Maddie)makes fun of Christianity which makes me sick and another (Zoe) explores the religion. A teacher tries to get REAL close to Zoe using Christianity as an excuse which makes my stomach churn with anger, but Maddie saves Zoe by crashing the dude's unwanted alone time with Zoe. I like the book and how it views true friendship, but the other issues are highly controversial and it fails to show any high moral values even by my standards. Overall the book wasn't all that fantabulous so it gets a 4 out of 10. The book was pretty awful, but you might never know whether you like it unless you try, but personally I don't recommend this good as a book read for anyone!

The Year Of Secret Assignments!!!!!!!!!!

This book is my favorite. It is a young adult fiction about 3 high school girls who get 3 boy pen pals from a mandatory pen-pal program in their school, that was meant to bring peace between the rival schools of Ashbury High and Brookfield High. At first the 3 girls aren't really happy about their assignment, but eventually become really really tight with the boys. Except for Cassie who's pen-pal had used a fake name and made up everything he had told her. Cassie already had a fragile heart from her father's death a year before, but that didn't stop "Matthew Dunlop" (her pen-pal) from messing with her. In the end one of the girls (Lydia) becomes one of the Brookfield boy's girlfriend and Cassie gets her justice. Much more happened, but I don't want to spoil the book for anyone who wants to read it. Overall this book gets an 8 out of 10!!!
